On the occasion of the Lugana Festival, an event organized and promoted by the Consorzio Tutela Lugana DOC, our winery will open its doors on Saturday, October 17th and Sunday, October 18th for a weekend entirely dedicated to discovering the Turbiana, the morainic hills, and the wine produced in this region.
Below is the program of experiences designed to welcome you to Montonale: from bike tours through the vineyards to guided winery tours, culminating in an exclusive vertical tasting with our winemaker.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17th
• E-bike tour with tasting | 10:00 a.m.
A guided e-bike tour by LET'S BIKE IT through the morainic hills and our vineyards. The perfect opportunity to share our agricultural philosophy and respect for the land with you right in the field. Upon our return, we’ll tour the winemaking area and the barrel cellar together, concluding with a guided tasting of our wines.
• Discover our territory | 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM
A journey into the heart of Montonale: from the Turbiana vineyards to the winery, and on to the barrel cellar where the wines rest in oak barrels. At the end of the tour, we will taste our wines paired with a selection of products from the region, all while enjoying the panoramic view from our tasting room.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18th
• Tasting of Historic Vintages with the Winemaker | 10:00 a.m.
A journey through time to savor the evolution of Turbiana. Roberto Girelli, winemaker and co-owner of Montonale, will lead you through a guided tasting of various historic vintages of our Lugana wines. A unique opportunity to understand how the climate of each harvest, winemaking choices, and the passage of time translate into wines with ever-changing and expressive nuances.

A guided tour through the Turbiana vineyard, the winemaking cellar, and the barrel room, followed by a tasting of our wines paired with local culinary specialties.
